Before receiving care through Aura Health & Wellness, please review and understand how telehealth works and its benefits and limits.
What telehealth is
- Telehealth uses secure electronic communication — messaging, questionnaires, phone, or video — to deliver care without an in-person visit.
- Your clinician will review the information you submit and may request additional details, labs, or an in-person evaluation.
Benefits and risks
- Benefits include convenient access to licensed clinicians, privacy, and reduced travel.
- Risks include the possibility that information transmitted is not sufficient for clinical decision-making, delays in evaluation, and, rarely, technology failures or security breaches despite safeguards.
Your responsibilities
- Provide complete and accurate health history, including medications, allergies, and conditions.
- Report side effects promptly and follow up as directed. Seek emergency care for urgent symptoms.
Consent
- By submitting an intake form or placing an order, you consent to receive care via telehealth, agree that a clinician may decline treatment if it is not clinically appropriate, and understand you may withdraw consent at any time.
